On Oct 18th and 19th I had one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life as a choral singer. The MACC Ensemble performed a masterpiece called “Path of Miracles” by Joby Talbot. Not only the music is a vocal workout, the 16-voice ensemble had to perform a cappella and with some “light choreography”. The final result was absolutely gorgeous. The beauty of the cathedral was enhanced by projections and light design, and I feel so grateful to be part of such a great ensemble full of sublime voices. Alejandro Zuleta (conductor) and Jamie Askey (director) did an excellent job. I wish I could share with you all the final result, but copyright laws prevent me from doing that. We are preparing another performance soon, and I am sure it will be a blast!
