Last Wednesday, we had our first Compline service of the season. This service is definitely one of the highlights of my week. Imagine a beautiful church, all the lights turned off, 8 professional singers singing the best sacred a cappella repertoire for 20 minutes straight. Under the guidance of the conductor and music director John Cantrell, it is a magical experience regardless of anyone’s system of beliefs. I strongly recommend everyone to attend this service at least once during this season.

Every Wednesday, from 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. The picture above was taken after the first Compline service. On the picture, you can see the conductor and the 8 professional singers in charge of the service.
